You will be required to undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers before entry into events and locations at Cake Expo 2021, including the Exhibition Hall, Hands on Classes and Demonstrations, General Membership Meeting, Annual Representatives Meeting, etc. Once screened, you will receive a sticker for that portion of the days events and will not need to be rescreened until the afternoon sessions.
Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.
Before you leave home, be sure to check the temperatures of everyone in your party—including yourself—as an extra layer of precaution.
Face coverings are strongly encouraged for all Members and Attendees, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. We ask that you please bring your own face coverings and encourage you to wear them at all times, except when dining. We will have a vendor selling masks if you wish to purchase on site
Approved face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
- Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
- Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
- Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
- Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the attendee to remain hands-free
Face shields are permitted to be worn by vendors, demonstrators, instructors, and those attendees that are unable to wear the approved face coverings listed above.
The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.
