- Trains to Reno
If you’d rather leave the navigating to someone else, Amtrak’s California Zephyr offers one of the most beautiful train rides in North America. The Zephyr runs through Reno and Sacramento, into Emeryville/San Francisco. The train lets you get the party started before you even arrive in Reno!
There’s something special about a road trip – creating the ideal playlist, finding the perfect stops along the way and of course you can’t forget the snacks. Options provide travelers with plenty of photo ops and opportunities for adventure. And once you get to GSR, parking is complimentary.

If you are headed to the area but don’t have a car, don’t worry! There are plenty of bus and shuttle options to Reno.

- Shuttle pick-up and drop-off is located at GSR by the front desk in the porte-cochere. At Reno-Tahoe International Airport exit Door next to Baggage Claim.
- Airport Shuttle Times
Shuttle services depart half-hourly to and from GSR and Reno-Tahoe airport, from the first flight of the day until the last.
Shuttle service runs from 4:30am-12:00am daily, with a shuttle approximately every 30 minutes. Departs GSR on the hour and half-hour.
Departs Reno-Tahoe airport 20 minutes and 50 minutes after the hour.
